My experience and accomplishments began in 1996. I have proudly served the last 26 years in Special Education with a two year stay in third grade here at Lowery Road. I have enjoyed inspiring students to do their best and have had years where the students accomplished most of the grade level requirements.

I attended Winona State University before completing my degree at UTA Arlington Texas.

I am passionate about teaching reading to students that struggle. I have a new grandson in California that I cannot get enough time with. I also love collecting and hunting down the largest brooches to wear everyday.

I was a struggling reader.

I attended TCC NE Campus, University of Texas at Arlington - Graduated in 1995 with a Bachelors in Communication, Public Relations, and Journalism. This is my 25th year of teaching Special Education.

I enjoy ballroom dancing with my husband, & I love to read.  I also enjoy movies & spending time with my family.

I am so blessed to be working with the special education students in FWISD.  I especially love teaching reading because it will provide greater independence for our students & enrich their lives.
